RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES TASKS AND AUTHORITIES):

• Lead and execute storage migration projects from Hitachi storage systems to Huawei storage solutions.
• Provide Level 3 support for Huawei storage environments, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Design, implement, and manage Huawei storage infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute storage migration strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Perform storage capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Develop and maintain documentation for storage configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in storage technologies

MANDATORY

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in storage engineering, with a focus on Huawei storage solutions.
• Proven experience in migrating from Hitachi storage systems to Huawei storage solutions.
• Strong knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, FC, NFS, CIFS) and storage management tools.
• Proficiency in Huawei storage products, including OceanStor, Dorado, and FusionStorage.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications in Huawei storage technologies are a plus.
