RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES ALL TASKS):
Implementation & Configuration
- Lead end-to-end implementation of D365 F&O Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
- Configure and customize D365 F&O to meet client financial and regulatory requirements.
- Define and implement financial workflows, dimensions, posting profiles, tax setups, and currency management.
- Integrate D365 F&O Finance with other modules (e.g., Supply Chain, Project Accounting, HR) and third-party systems.
Business Process Analysis & Optimization
- Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and D365 F&O capabilities.
- Recommend best practices for financial processes, compliance, and reporting.
- Design and document functional specifications for customizations, reports, and integrations.
User Training & Support
- Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation for finance processes in D365 F&O.
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
- Work closely with technical teams to resolve issues and implement fixes.
Reporting & Compliance
- Configure and optimize financial reports using Management Reporter, Power BI, or
Excel templates.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, local tax laws, and audit requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes within D365 F&O.
MANDATORY
Required Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Finance Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Strong background in accounting, finance, and ERP systems.
- Proven track record of full-lifecycle D365 F&O implementations (discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, support).
- Expertise in financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting, Cost Accounting).
- Experience with data migration, integration (Power Platform, Logic Apps), and reporting tools.
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310).
- Knowledge of Power BI, Azure DevOps, and LCS (Lifecycle Services).
- Experience with multi-currency, multi-company, and intercompany transactions.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (VAT, GST, SOX, etc.).
Education & Certifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
· Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification (MB-310)
Location & Travel
· Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
