Job Overview

The Senior Business Analyst leads end to end requirements and solution definition for NTS insurance product suite, covering digital portals B2C and intermediary, underwriting and endorsement workflows including STP and manual underwriting, claims digitization including FNOL and downstream portals, reinsurance configuration, finance and billing integration, and compliance such as AML checks. The role bridges business and technology, converts complex insurance processes into scalable product capabilities, and supports demos proposals and client engagements across GCC and other markets.


Qualifications and Skills

  • 8 to 15 years’ experience as Business Analyst in General Insurance domain
  • Experience working on digital portals and core insurance modules is strongly preferred
  • Agile certification or a Business Analyst certification is preferred.
  • Strong general insurance domain knowledge for Motor, Non Motor, Medical LOBs.
  • Hands on experience with STP rules underwriting and endorsement workflows
  • Good understanding of claims ecosystem
  • Knowledge of reinsurance concepts treaty FAC allocation mapping
  • Finance process understanding including collections payments billing and registers
  • Strong requirements writing, stakeholder facilitation, and workshop leadership
  • Agile delivery experience backlog management sprint support and iterative refinement
  • Ability to translate business requirements into implementable functional specifications
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Tools and Methods

  • Jira or similar for user stories and backlog
  • Visio, Lucidchart, Miro for process diagrams
  • MS Office Google Workspace for documentation and templates
  • Basic understanding of APIs, data mapping, and integration patterns

Roles and Responsibilities

Requirements and Product Ownership

  • Lead discovery workshops with insurers brokers TPAs and internal stakeholders to capture business needs and pain points
  • Define AS IS and TO BE processes for insurance journeys including quote to policy conversion endorsements claims and collections
  • Create BRDs FRDs user stories acceptance criteria process flows and data mappings for multiple modules
  • Own backlog grooming, prioritization support, and sprint readiness with product and engineering teams
  • Define functional rules, validations, calculations, and workflow states for complex insurance scenarios

Key Responsibilities Insurance Product Development, Project Implementation, and Demo Support

  • Lead end to end General Insurance product development, including requirement elicitation through workshops and stakeholder discussions, BRD and user story preparation, continuous requirement clarification with development and QA teams, and functional support during system testing and UAT.
  • Drive project implementation support for NTS Insurance IP based on the agreed project scope, ensuring requirements are delivered as expected, supporting configuration and rollout activities, and managing functional validations and defect triage through go live.
  • Support vendor solution implementation including AI solutions, ensuring solution fitment with business processes, supporting integrations and data requirements, and contributing to proposal scope definition and submission.
  • Provide customer demo and solution walkthrough support for both NTS Insurance IP and vendor solutions, aligning the demo to business scenarios, capturing feedback, and supporting follow up actions.

Stakeholder Management and Delivery Support

  • Coordinate with engineering QA UI UX and architects to ensure functional clarity and delivery alignment
  • Support UAT planning test scenario creation, defect triage, and go live readiness
  • Prepare client facing documentation, product walkthroughs, demo scripts, and proposal inputs including scope and assumptions
  • Provide module wise feedback, gap analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations

  • Screen wise requirements including dashboards and reports
