JOB TITLE: Trainee Test Engineer - QA

JOB PURPOSE: Should be able to do test execution on an agile or waterfall projects, focusing on the creation and execution of Manual test cases. Execute automated test scripts for medium to complex projects.

QUALIFICATION: B. Tech/BE/ MCA

EXPERIENCE: 0-1 yrs

REPORTING TO: QA Lead

LOCATION: Bangalore

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES ALL TASKS):

• In Agile / Scrum Environment:
• Participate in scrum, daily stand-up, sprint, and iterative development activities
• Participate in sprint and release planning.
• Participate in backlog refinement.
• Execute practical application of agile framework components.
• Follow Acceptance criteria and execute test cases.
• For Activities related to Test Management:
• Understand Testing process.
• Follow the testing guidelines while writing test cases and test execution.
• Follow the assigned task and complete it at the time mentioned.

TECHNICAL SKILLS /COMPETENCIES:

• MANDATORY
• Trained in Software testing – ISTQB Foundation certification training completion.
• Trained in one automation scripting language – Java / Java script / Python.
• Trained on one automation tool – Cypress / Selenium
