Intertec Softwares Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to join our team in Mumbai. This is a full-time role that requires the candidate to have proven expertise in business development, IT sales, and enterprise asset management. The role focuses on strengthening partnerships and expanding market presence in alignment with the company's strategic direction.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions. The role involves selling enterprise software and transformation solutions to asset-intensive industries such as manufacturing, utilities, transport, energy, and infrastructure.
This role requires a strategic hunter mindset with strong relationship management and consultative selling capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- 8–15 years in enterprise software solution sales:
- ERP (SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Engineering Software / Applications (PLM, MES, IIoT, Industry 4.0, Digital Twin)
- EAM / Asset-focused technology platforms
- Proven experience in consultative selling to industrial / infrastructure clients.
- Strong stakeholder engagement with CxOs, Plant Heads, Operations Leaders.
- Ability to manage RFPs, tenders, large and strategic deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive revenue and gross margin targets through new account acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships (cross-sell & up-sell).
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with regular engagement to improve visibility and trust.
- Present and position Intertec’s EAM & APM solutions, articulating value propositions, differentiators, use cases, and customer success stories.
- Understand business requirements, propose tailored solutions, and illustrate solution value in a compelling manner.
- Collaborate with Presales, Service Delivery, Marketing, and Vendor teams to ensure revenue growth, lead generation, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in RFI/RFP processes, product demonstrations, solution proposals, and Proof-of-Concept (POC) activities to close deals.
- Stay updated on product roadmaps, industry trends, and maintain vendor certifications to support practice readiness.
- Promote opportunities in existing accounts and ensure customer success, retention, and reference ability.
