JOB PURPOSE:

Field Engineer – Hardware

QUALIFICATION:

BE/BTech/Bsc/Diploma

EXPERIENCE:

1 – 2 Years

CERTIFICATIONS:

Any Hardware Certifications

MANDATORY TRAININGS ATTENDED

REPORTING TO:

Senior Manager – Service Support

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES TASKS AND AUTHORITIES):

·        Candidate should be willing to work on field at customer premises

·        Candidate should be willing to work on Hardware deployments, parts replacement at customer premises

·        Candidate will shadow Senior Members of the team for Onsite visits and collaborate to gain Hands-On knowledge

·        Candidate will work primarily on HPE & Dell  Servers, Storage, Tape Library, Hyperconverged Infrastructure hardware.

·        Render support and Critical customer incidents/breakdowns, troubleshooting them within the agreed service levels for self and team.

·        Execute Health Check services and closure along with the team for AMC customers.

TECHNICAL SKILLS /COMPETENCIES:

MANDATORY

·     Good Theoretical Knowledge on:

o  Server Hardware Components

o  Storage Hardware Components

o  Hardware Firmware

o  Windows Server infrastructure
