Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing detailed drawings and assembly drawings, 3D modeling.
• Makes any necessary changes to existing models or drawings.
• Understand manufacturing processes and implement new designs with the most cost effective and efficient processes where feasible
• Maintains a database of drawings and transmitted documents.
• Works with the engineering team to determine the root cause and resolution for component/product issues.
• Creates or revises Bills of Materials for new and existing products.
• Understand and apply appropriate materials and weld procedures to designs

Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience and knowledge in using Solid Edge for creating CAD Part, Assembly and Draft files.
• Sound knowledge of Teamcenter.
• Desired Qualification: Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical or related streams
• Work Experience: 4+ Years of experience
• Ability to acquire technical data via catalogs, the internet, vendors, to create models and drawings
• Ability to generate BoM, maintain data and relationships of models and drawing files in an organized fashion.
• Good knowledge of stack-ups analysis and dimensional analysis
