Job Overview

Greatbell HR Consultancy Services PVT LTD is seeking a Service Engineer for one of the leading Automobile Companies in Cochin. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to both internal and external customers. This role requires a mid-level candidate with 4 to 6 years of experience in the automotive industry. The position is full-time and based in Cochin, Kerala, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Service Engineer in the automotive industry.
• Solid understanding of automotive systems and technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting and resolving product-related issues.
• Install, repair, and maintain automotive equipment and machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of automotive systems.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise and support in customer meetings and demonstrations.
• Train customers and internal staff on product features, functionality, and maintenance procedures.
• Prepare and submit service reports, documenting customer interactions, issues resolved, and recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and product developments in the automotive sector.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide feedback to the engineering and product development teams.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction in all interactions.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
