Job Type: Full-Time | Trainee Position (Probation/Training Period: 6–12 months)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Production Engineer Trainee to join our Genset manufacturing plant in Velugam, Silvassa. The trainee will be exposed to various aspects of the production process including genset assembly, testing, and process improvement. This is a hands-on, plant-based role with the opportunity to grow into a full-time Production Engineer role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly of diesel generators, sound proof acoustic enclosures.
• Support the production team in executing daily production plans and schedules.
• Learn and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Observe and participate in functional testing of gensets under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in material handling, tools management, and workstation organization (5S).
• Help track production data, prepare basic reports and logs, and monitor WIP (Work-in-Progress).
• Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams for issue resolution.
• Actively participate in on-the-job training, technical sessions, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering (Fresher or up to 1 year experience)
• Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, tools, and assembly procedures.
• Willingness to work in a plant/shop floor environment.

Good communication skills, eagerness to learn, and a proactive attitude.
