Job Overview

We are seeking a Sales Engineer specializing in the genset or other capital equipment industry to join our team. This full-time position is based in Mumbai, requiring a work experience of 2 to 3 years. The ideal candidate will possess significant sales expertise, focusing on promoting our high-quality diesel generator sets, enhancing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Qualifications and Skills

·      Must demonstrate proficiency in technical sales, as it's a mandatory skill integral to this role.

·      Ability to manage key accounts with strategic insight to foster long-term customer relationships.

·      Proven skills in lead generation, identifying potential customers, and converting opportunities into sales.

·      Excellent communication skills essential for effective negotiation, presentation, and client engagement.

·      Experience in providing after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining service quality.

·      Strong market analysis capabilities to keep abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape.

·      Ability to conduct contract negotiations confidently, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

·      Technical knowledge of genset products to adequately address client requirements and technical inquiries.


Roles and Responsibilities

·      Conduct detailed market research to identify sales opportunities and assess potential client needs.

·      Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.

·      Manage key accounts by maintaining strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions.

·      Coordinate with the technical team to provide timely after-sales support and service excellence.

·      Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to clients, showcasing our product capabilities.

·      Negotiate terms of sales and finalizing agreements to benefit both the company and the client.

·      Stay updated with the latest developments in the genset industry to best serve client interests.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and product offerings.


Qualification: Minimum Diploma in BE Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics or equivalent with 2 to 3 year’s experience.
