Job Overview
Goel Power Engineers is seeking a mid-level Sales Engineer for our Genset Industry. This full-time role requires a minimum of 4 to 6 years of work experience and is based in locations including Ahmedabad, Vapi, Mumbai, Surat, Raipur, and Nagpur. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling our diesel generator product line, requiring strong technical sales skills and expertise in electrical engineering.
Qualifications and Skills
- In-depth knowledge of diesel generators and their applications (Mandatory skill).
- Expertise in electrical engineering principles and practices (Mandatory skill).
- Proven technical sales skills and ability to convey complex information effectively (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing and interpreting technical layouts and diagrams.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for managing client interactions.
- Strong presentation skills to clearly communicate product features and benefits to clients.
- Effective project management skills to coordinate and oversee sales projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent customer relationship management abilities, focusing on client satisfaction and retention.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and establish new business opportunities by networking and building business relationships in the genset industry.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrate the technical and functional aspects of diesel generator sets to prospective clients.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to customers, ensuring product relevancy to client needs.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to satisfy client-specific design and installation requirements.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, bids, and quotations, considering all cost and sales factors.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support during and after the sale.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and gain a competitive advantage.
- Achieve sales targets and outcomes within scheduled timelines, contributing to overall business objectives.
