We are seeking a Sr. Design Manager specializing in LT DG Sets & power management solutions to join our dynamic team at Goel Power Engineers LLP. This mid-level, full-time position is based at HO, Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have between 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in the industry. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate design of our power solution projects to meet client specifications and requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical) with Panel Design experience.
• Strong proficiency in electrical design, with a focus on power Management, is essential for this role.
• Proven experience in cost estimation to ensure project proposals are both competitive and profitable for the Company.
• Understanding of HT and LT panel design to facilitate seamless integration of generator sets into existing electrical systems / or designing of complete electrical systems.
• Competency in selecting appropriate switchgear to maintain the safety and reliability of electrical installations.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate engineering plans and link designs to project requirements effectively.
• Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with project managers, suppliers, and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design & drawing development on specified projects including independently performing design work along with directing drafting to generate control system documentation such as wiring diagrams, schematics, panel layouts and Bills of Material
• Produce system deployment documents such as installation diagrams, demolition drawings and field wiring checkout sheets
• Incorporate design specifications and other information provided by the project team into designs
• Prepare/Review final material lists and submit to procurement
• Manage, distribute, and archive as-built drawings and associated documentation
• Provide design/drafting estimates to sales team and project leads
• Coordinating with customer/consultant wherever required for approval of drawings.
• Preparation of detailed BOM with Cat number as per approved drawings for manufacturing
• Managing software & records of all drawings and indents.
