Job Overview

The Executive - Sales Genset Industry position is a full-time, junior-level opportunity based in Ahmedabad, Vapi, Surat, or Vadodara. The role requires 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, focusing on promoting and selling diesel generator solutions, developing client relationships, and supporting the continued market growth of Goel Power Engineers.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of sales experience in the power generation, genset, or electrical equipment industries relevant to the role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in power generation solutions (Mandatory skill) that supports consultative client engagements and solution positioning.
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical equipment (Mandatory skill) with the ability to explain complex technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation skills (Mandatory skill) for effective deal-making and closing transactions with clients and channel partners.
  • Ability to manage channel sales by identifying, developing, and maintaining durable relationships with dealers and distributors.
  • Proficient in crafting and delivering effective sales presentations tailored to customer needs and product advantages.
  • Experience in lead generation, prospect engagement, and maintaining a robust prospective client pipeline.
  • Strong after-sales support capabilities that assure customer satisfaction and maintain high service standards post-purchase.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and regional languages relevant to the Gujarat location.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities within the assigned territory to expand the customer base and market penetration.
  • Promote and sell diesel generator sets and solutions to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
  • Conduct detailed sales presentations showcasing product features, technical advantages, and value propositions tailored to the prospect's requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and channel partners to maximize revenue and foster long-term relationships.
  • Establish and strengthen channel sales networks by onboarding, training, and supporting dealers and distributors.
  • Deliver prompt after-sales support, resolving client queries, and ensuring total customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic input to management for business development priorities.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market feedback for senior leadership review.
