Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Design Estimation Engineer Panel Genset to join our team in Mumbai. This full-time position requires a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The role focuses on design and estimation tasks relating to genset panels, incorporating costing, designing, and testing of electrical panels.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in cost estimation with a deep understanding of budgeting and financial planning (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in panel design, including wiring schematics and layout plans (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in electrical panel testing, ensuring safety and functionality (Mandatory skill).
• In-depth knowledge of diesel generators and their applications in different settings.
• Ability to manage project scheduling efficiently, adhering to timelines and deadlines.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, ensuring designs meet industry standards and regulations.
• Skills in power distribution, optimizing system efficiency and energy allocation.
• Experience in PLC programming, integrating controls and automation systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for electrical panel and genset projects, ensuring accurate budgeting.
• Design electrical panels, including schematics, layout diagrams, and component selection.
• Conduct rigorous testing of electrical panels to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of design and estimation tasks.
