Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer - Network Automation Engineer for a full-time position based in Chennai. This role involves utilizing your expertise in QA automation and networking to enhance our software quality processes. The position is a crucial part of our growth strategy, where you will work in a dynamic team to automate and streamline network operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience with Network Automation Frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python scripting (Mandatory) with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in routing, switching, and protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP, NAT, IPSEC).
• Hands-on experience with Load Generation tools like Ixia/Spirent.
• Basic networking knowledge, CCNA certification preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proficiency in Selenium (Mandatory skill), essential for web application automation and testing.
• In-depth understanding of Networking (Mandatory skill), vital for network automation tasks.
• Experience with the Robot Framework, required for creating and managing test scripts effectively.
• Familiarity with L4/L7 OSI, important for understanding network protocols and configurations.
• Competence in Applied strong Network Engineering skills to analyze and resolve issues related to firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect, and Cortex Data Lake., needed to design and implement automated network solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate quality assurance issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Robot Framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Enhance network automation capabilities within the organization by leveraging networking skills.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with developers to resolve defects.
• Maintain and update documentation related to test cases and automation processes.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA automation and networking.
