Job Profile:

Selected candidates will become part of the technical team of Manorama Online. They will have to interact very closely with both content and marketing teams.

Main role is to analyse, review and implement changes to all the digital properties of Malayala Manorama including web, mobile and apps so that they are optimized for search engines. This means maximizing the traffic to the site by improving page rank within search engines.

The role includes testing and implementation of various search engine optimization techniques across all portals. Hands-on experience is required, especially in news and media domain.

Team Management

Expertise in Keyword Research

Good command in Malayalam and English

Understanding of latest SEO trends including Core Web Vitals and other Google Algorithms

Understanding of Social Media Trends

Google Analytics Monitoring

Google Search Console Monitoring

Conduct site audits to identify and recommend SEO tactics to gain the best visibility and engagement

Developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy along with both technical and non-technical teams to improve organic traffic

Work closely with the editorial team in coming up with best practices for well-optimized content and training them regularly

Exposure to SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush etc

Achieve performance goals of organic rankings and traffic for our clients through On-Page technical SEO and Off-Page link-building
