About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Interview Panelist with deep technical expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) to support our hiring process. As a panelist, you will be responsible for evaluating candidates for CDP Engineer roles by assessing their technical capabilities and domain knowledge through structured interviews.

This is a remote freelance engagement, ideal for professionals who are passionate about mentoring and talent evaluation while staying connected to emerging data practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct structured technical interviews for CDP Engineer candidates
• Evaluate candidates’ skills in:
• Data Integration from multiple platforms and tools
• Data Modeling for customer profiles
• Customer Data Management, identity resolution, and compliance
• API Usage including RESTful APIs for data exchange
• Provide detailed interview feedback and recommendations
• Collaborate with internal hiring teams to improve the interview process
• Maintain professionalism and objectivity during candidate assessments

Requirements:

• 8 to 20 years of hands-on experience in CDP, data engineering, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (e.g., Segment, Salesforce CDP, mParticle)
• Proficiency in data pipelines, data modeling, and API integrations
• Prior experience conducting technical interviews or mentoring candidates is a plus
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Available for remote interviews during flexible time slots
