Role Summary
FutureMug is a fast-growing HR-tech startup based in Technopark. We are hiring a Chief of Staff for the Founder’s Office to drive execution across key initiatives. This role is ideal for an energetic, motivated professional with 2+ years of experience who enjoys building structure, coordinating teams, and ensuring outcomes. Key Responsibilities
1. Founder’s Office Execution and Coordination
You will act as the execution backbone for the Founder’s Office by coordinating priorities, tracking progress, and ensuring timely follow-through across teams.
. 2. Program and Project Management
Create program plans and project trackers for business-critical initiatives, including defining milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and timelines. Drive governance rhythms such as weekly check-ins, reviews, and action tracking.
3. Central Reporting and Business Updates
Build and maintain a single source of truth for the Founder’s Office: consolidated status reports, key metrics, risks, and decisions. Validate updates with respective business owners and publish concise weekly summaries for leadership.
4. Cross-functional Follow-ups and Stakeholder Management
Proactively engage with multiple functions (product, engineering, operations, sales, customer success, finance) to gather updates, unblock issues, and drive closure on action items.
5. AI Adoption and Enablement (Learning + Application)
Develop familiarity with modern AI tools and workflows (e.g., AI assistants, automation, documentation, analytics). Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, planning, and internal coordination using AI-enabled methods.
6. Process Improvement and Operational Discipline
Create repeatable templates and lightweight processes that improve execution speed and accountability (e.g., meeting notes to action logs, decision registers, RAID logs, simple dashboards).
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of professional experience (project coordination, program management, operations, founder’s office, PMO, consulting, or similar).
* Strong working knowledge of project/program management fundamentals (planning, tracking, stakeholder updates, risk/dependency management).
* High ownership mindset with a bias for execution and closure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication (ability to create crisp summaries and structured reports).
* Strong follow-up discipline, attention to detail, and comfort working with ambiguity in a startup environment.
* Willingness and curiosity to learn new AI tools and apply them to everyday work.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
* Experience supporting a startup, leadership team, or PMO function.
* Exposure to HR-tech / SaaS / B2B operations.
* Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace/MS Office, Notion/Confluence, Jira/Trello/Asana, Slack/Teams, and basic dashboards.
* Comfort working with distributed teams and U.S.-time-zone coordination.
