Role/Position -Android Automotive Senior Engineer 

Experience -4 – 6 years 

Work Location -Trivandrum, Bangalore

Education -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communications or Computer Science 

Core Technical Skills 

• Android Automotive OS (AAOS): Deep understanding of AAOS architecture, HAL layers, and system services. 
• Android Framework & AOSP: Experience customizing and building Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for embedded systems. 
• Vehicle HAL (VHAL): Experience integrating and customizing Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer. 
• Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and Logcat: Proficient in debugging Android systems. 
• System Boot & OTA Updates: Knowledge of Android boot process, recovery, and over-the-air update mechanisms. 
• Security & Permissions: Understanding of Android’s permission model and SELinux policies. 
• Multimedia & Connectivity: Experience with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, audio routing, and media playback in automotive contexts. 
• C/C++: Strong skills for working with native layers, especially in HAL and system-level components. 

Desired Skills 

• Familiarity with Linux kernel, device drivers, and embedded Linux environments. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and fine-tune android software into Digital Cockpit domain 
• Exposure in Android app development using Java and Kotlin. 
• Passionate and self-driven engineer, updated on industry advancements in android technologies. 
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues and work on continuous improvement and enhancements. 
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless android software integration.
