Job Overview

We are seeking a junior-level Field Service Technician to join our team in Chennai. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of our water treatment systems. You will work closely with our team to ensure the efficient functioning of all systems according to company standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in pump installation, including the ability to manage and operate necessary tools and equipment efficiently.
• Experience in preventive maintenance practices to ensure system reliability and extend equipment life.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose system failures and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
• Excellent time management skills for timely completion of tasks and adherence to project deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared project goals.
• Competence in field documentation, including the accurate recording of maintenance and installation activities.
• Understanding of water treatment systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and troubleshoot issues.
• Familiarity with instrumentation related to the water treatment industry, ensuring accurate monitoring and control.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site installation of pumps, filtration systems, and other related equipment as per company standards.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of water treatment systems.
• Diagnose and repair any technical faults in equipment to maintain uninterrupted service delivery.
• Keep accurate and thorough records of all service activities performed on-site.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients to aid in equipment handling and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with the team to coordinate activities and share knowledge on systems improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance and installation tasks.
• Regularly update knowledge of industry innovations and best practices to maintain competitive service quality.
