As a Patch Management Engineer your objective is to develop and implement patch management methodologies using various automation toolsets. This profile is expected to have work experience on automation tools like Manage engine, Redhat Satellite, WSUS, SCOM etc, also versed with general operational knowledge of IT Infra applications like Vmware, Citrix, Exchange, AD, and operating systems. Role is for a 24/7 environment and will be required to be working in shifts including weekend late night shifts.

Qualifications 

 Implement patches to the target servers using available tools

 Monitor Antivirus update distribution and resolve issues on out of date assets

 Take part in CAB & TAB meetings to table change request

 Follow defined guidelines around patch management 

 Liaise with other support functions of IT during patching window

 Create and maintain reports for patch compliance and system audit data. 

 Provide recommendations for system automation. 

 Document issues and associated resolutions to problems. 

 Develop and test deployment packages across Windows, Linux, VMware, Nutanix, Citrix Netscaler, MS Exchange and AD. 

 Troubleshoot deployment issues. 

 Participate in technical on-call rotation. 

 Adherence to policies, processes and procedures within your areas of responsibility.  

Education and Experience 

 A Graduate or a diploma holder.

 Any IT Professional certification (MCSE, RHEL, etc)

 2-4 years of professional experience managing enterprise facility
