As part of this HCI Administrator role, the candidate will be responsible to manage and support HCI based infrastructure for the assigned customer / Customers around Technology Implementations, regular upkeep and continuous enhancement as Primary ongoing responsibility. The position is a 24/7 role & the candidate will be required to be working in shifts. At times of critical outages candidate will be required to extend support in resolution and recover client Operations. This Profile will report to (-----------------------)

·        Extensive knowledge on Nutanix PRISM Element, Prism Central, Nutanix LCM, Nutanix Files, AOS, AHV, Nutanix Hardware, Disaster Recovery with Nutanix Leap

·        Prism Dashboard Overview and Administration

·        Experience with AHV Upgrades via Prism

·        Experience with Deployment of Prism Central VM

·        Experience with Configuration and integration of Prism Central to new/existing clusters

·        Configuration of AHV Cluster

▪ Cluster Administration Settings (Users, NTP, SMTP, SNMP)

▪ Storage Pool/Storage Container creation and configuration

▪ Virtual Network configuration for VM traffic

·        Well versed with Patch Management / Upgrades on Windows, VMware and Nutanix platforms

·        Knowledge on VMWare vSphere 5. x and 6. x suite, HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, Distributed vSwitches

·        Understanding of VMWare VROPS, VRO and Log Insight

·        Monitoring Server Hardware [Hardware failure, CPU Utilization, Memory utilization, kernel process, services process

·        Responsible for daily server administration such as resolving tickets, file systems management, Operating systems installation and management

·        Handling the Major Incidents and Root Cause analysis

·        Knowledge on MS Failover cluster on Virtual Machine

·        Windows 2003,2008/R2,2012/R2,2016 Operating Systems

·        Microsoft Clustering administration and configuration

·        Possesses hands-on knowledge and experience in installing / feature testing / configuring Windows or VMware vSphere platform

·        Should have an extensive experience in Infrastructure architecture, design and Implementation of Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016, ADS, VMware Datacenter Virtualization (VMware vSphere suite 5. x and 6. x)

·        Extensive Experience in Windows AD 2003/2008/2012/2016 Security/Group Policy, Active directory FSMO Roles, backup, restore

·        Good Understanding of ITIL Processes (Incident/Change/Problem Management) Understands and operates within agreed SLAs Good documentation skills.

Education and Experience

·        A Graduate in B.E/B.Tech/MCA or BsC/Diploma (15 yrs. of Education).

·        10+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer 

·        science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience 6+ years in total).

·        Professional Certification Vmware & Nutanix (Mandatory)
