Designation: Public Relations Manager

Experience: 8-10 years

Location: Mumbai



To execute and oversee organization’s PR and media strategy, build its reputation and ensure effective media coverage, draft and oversee the creation of media releases and content on social media, establish relationships with journalists and key influencers and manage the response to ‘crisis’ situations.



  • Arrange interviews & press releases for promoting organization and leadership strengths
  • Generate opportunities with media houses
  • Ensure brand consistency across PR


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of PR Strategy to enhance SOV (Share of Visibility) in Media amongst competition
  • Maximize brand presence on various channels
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media and influential professionals
  • Arrange interviews and press releases to promote our company and its products/services
  • Regular PR to mainstream and A-Cat, Business Newspapers, IT Magazines (Offline and Online)
  • Ensure brand consistency in all PR & Advertorial Part
  • Organize PR events to increase awareness of our company
  • Track and influence media coverage
  • Manage Crisis Management
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate
  • Recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
  • Analyzing media coverage
  • Commissioning or undertaking relevant market research
  • Liaising with clients, managerial and journalistic staff about posting company PR
  • Writing and producing presentations and press releases
  • Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations
  • Organizing press conferences, exhibitions, FAM Trips of Media Professionals


Essential Knowledge & Skills required:


  • Ability to plan, develop and implement PR strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry’s best practices.
  • A strong network of PR and media contacts would be highly advantageous.
  • Awareness of different media agendas and industry trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and Analytical skills.
  • Aptitude in presentation and ability to organize.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PR tools
  • Ability to build strong professional networks and relationships.
  • Confident communicator and presenter.
  • Be detail oriented and an efficient planner
