Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Government Sales Manager to lead our government business initiatives in Uttar Pradesh. Based in Lucknow, the role involves building strong relationships with state departments, PSUs, and state ministries to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in Uttar Pradesh as a territory, with strong connections in key government entities and a target-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a sales strategy for government accounts in Uttar Pradesh.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in state departments, PSUs, and ministries. • Leverage existing connections to identify opportunities and generate business leads.
• Conduct regular meetings with government officials and departments to understand their requirements and present tailored solutions.
• Prepare proposals, participate in tenders, and lead negotiations to close high-value deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective and compliant solutions.
• Stay updated on government policies, projects, and procurement processes relevant to the industry.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven success stories in government sales, particularly in Uttar Pradesh.
• Strong connections in state departments, PSUs, and state ministries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a focus on delivering results.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of the local language is a plus
