Job Description: AV/Collaboration Engineer (Polycom for Microsoft Teams Implementation)

Position: AV/Collaboration Engineer 

Duration: 1 year

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Role Overview

We are looking for AV/Collaboration Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Polycom technologies to support a large-scale Microsoft Teams native implementation project across 61 meeting rooms in office in Bangalore. The role involves assessing existing standalone Polycom environments and leading the transition to Teams Rooms with native solution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assess existing Polycom-based meeting rooms and design the migration plan to Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR).
2. Deploy and configure Polycom room solutions (cameras, controllers, speakers, microphones) for Teams native experience.
3. Ensure seamless integration between Polycom devices and Microsoft Teams.
4. Conduct installation, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of AV equipment in 61 rooms.
5. Provide necessary Hypercare support post implementation.
6. Work with network, IT, and facilities teams for infrastructure readiness (cabling, connectivity, room layout).
7. Deliver documentation, configuration standards, and user training.
8. Provide technical expertise during project execution and support post-deployment stabilization.
9. Coordinate with Global video team and follow Client’s video standards to meet with teams native installation
10. Signoff document preparation on test results with customer and handover to the operation team

Required Skills & Experience

1. 5+ years of experience in AV/Video Conferencing technologies.
2. Strong hands-on expertise with Polycom RealPresence, Group Series, Trio, and Logitech room systems.
3. Proven experience in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) implementation.
4. Good understanding of SIP, H.323, VoIP, and AV integration standards.
5. Skilled in troubleshooting AV/network issues in enterprise setups.
6. Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have

1. Microsoft Teams Rooms certification (MTRP, MCP, or equivalent).
2. Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, or other room control systems.
3. Experience in large-scale AV migration/deployment projects.
