Sr. Cons / Manager: DC IT Infrastructure Architect

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience

· 5 to 10+ years of IT industry experience in Hybrid-DC/private Cloud Infrastructure architecting with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience

· Experience of architecture, design, and implementation of complex, highly available and highly scalable Private Cloud & DC Virtualized solutions

· Relevant solution design experience on various aspects of data center technologies such as; Servers (LINUX and Wintel), Consolidation and Virtualization, Data center migration, Storage and backup, Network (LAN and WAN), Disaster Recovery/BCP, Database, Middleware, etc.

· Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts to build solutions

· Strong knowledge in Hybrid Cloud infrastructure best practices and hands-on experience in design, implementation, and/or support

· Awareness of enterprise storage deployment techniques such as SAN, RAID, mirroring, Clustering, Virtualization, Consolidation, Load Balancing, to ensure solutions are available, performant and resilient

· Must have experience in Data center migration projects, solution design, planning and execution

· Candidate should have good experience in assisting customer with performing assessment and putting through recommendation for Infrastructure related initiatives like capacity planning, cost saving opportunities, infrastructure rationalization and modernization etc.

· Experience in development of Proposals, collateral creation, RFP/RFI

· Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to create presentations and work effectively across internal and external organizations

· Certifications : VMware Architect, Cloud solution architect,

· Good to have: Experience in Cloud platforms

· Excellent analytical skills and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)

· Ability to effectively articulate architectural and business use case requirements to a non - technical audience, including both internal and client-facing engagements

· Ability to chart one’s own career and build networks within the organisation

· Ability to prioritise tasks, work on multiple assignments, and raise concerns/questions where appropriate

· Own the work assigned from end-to-end
