IT Support Specialist – End User Computing

Job Type: Adhoc/On Call/Casual Basis/Dispatch

Exp:2+yrs

Work Location: Onsite / In Person

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support via phone, remote access, or deskside visits as required.
  • Respond to IT issues including installation of external devices, desktops, laptops, hardware diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and general software support.
  • Deliver Smart Hands and Feet support when required, including POS and PowerShell scripting.
  • Manage inventory of new and replacement equipment; diagnose hardware faults, record relevant details (serial number, location, etc.), and coordinate with the Service Desk for repair services.
  • Perform IMAC/D tasks – installation, decommissioning, cascades, moves, adds, and changes of EUC equipment and software.

Skill Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Desktop Technician, Computer Technician, or IT Support professional in a business environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to support end-users and VIPs.
  • Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Office applications (Office 2003–2016).
  • Experience with Windows OS (7 and 10).
  • Knowledge of WAN/LAN technology and basic understanding of LAN/WAN network topology.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco switch installation and configuration as per templates.
  • Ability to provide remote access support for network devices (Switch/WLC) via console cable.
  • Experience supporting common business office devices including printers, scanners, mobile devices, and audio/video equipment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or equivalent platforms.
