Job Overview

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our team, supporting clients in Cromwell, Blenheim, Wanganui, Dargaville, Manawatu District, Gisborne, Gore and Hawera. This is a dispatch-based, ticket-driven role. Interested candidates may share their updated CV at della.joseph@eilglobal.com

Key Skills

• Experience in troubleshooting hardware/software issues
• Windows administration and Office 365 support
• Networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
• Active Directory and user management
• POS systems support for retail/hospitality clients
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Documentation and knowledge-sharing practices

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote Level 1/2 support
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Deploy and maintain OS, applications, and network setups
• Support Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, and POS systems
• Assist with asset management, maintenance, and compliance
• Document incidents and resolutions
• Collaborate with teams on IT projects and deliver excellent customer service
