Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level IT Support Engineer to join our team on a contract or freelance basis. The role is based in locations including Wanganui, Wanaka, Timaru, Warkworth, Waipawa, Thames, and New Plymouth. The ideal candidate must have with keen problem-solving abilities to handle various IT infrastructure challenges effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in desktop support (Mandatory skill) with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently at client locations.
- Proficiency in Active Directory management and maintenance to ensure smooth user and resource management across the enterprise.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Office 365 with the ability to provide technical support and resolve user issues promptly.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to analyze, identify, and rectify hardware and software issues quickly and effectively.
- Experience in Network Support, including the ability to monitor, maintain, and improve network performance and reliability.
- Proficient use of SCCM for system management, deployment, and maintaining best practices throughout the organization.
- Skilled in imaging and reimaging systems to streamline deployment and recovery processes across various infrastructures.
- Ability to provide technical support across multiple platforms, ensuring seamless IT operations for all end-users.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective desktop support services to ensure optimal end-user productivity and system performance.
- Manage Active Directory environments, handling user accounts, permissions, and directory services efficiently.
- Administer and troubleshoot Office 365 environments, ensuring seamless user communication and data management.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting and resolution of both hardware and software-related technical issues.
- Deliver exceptional network support, maintaining network systems and performing regular checks on connectivity and speed.
- Utilize SCCM for deploying, updating, and managing software applications and system configuration effectively.
- Handle imaging and reimaging of devices with efficiency to facilitate rapid deployment and recovery processes.
- Assist in technical support initiatives, providing comprehensive solutions to meet diversified IT needs of the organization.
