Job Overview

EIL Global IT Solutions and Services Pvt Ltd is seeking a Junior Field Service Network Break Fix Support professional for a freelance position in Auckland. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in network troubleshooting and repair within an IT infrastructure setting. This role requires a hands-on individual capable of quick diagnostics and effective problem resolution in both LAN and WAN environments. Candidates must possess a strong set of technical skills essential for maintaining and enhancing our clients' network systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Network troubleshooting and diagnostics tools (Mandatory skill).
• LAN/WAN setup and maintenance (Mandatory skill).
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly desirable.
• Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA) is required for comprehensive network support.
• Proficient in firewall configuration and management to safeguard network integrity.
• Experience with fiber optic cable installation and repair for enhanced connectivity solutions.
• Adept at wireless network configuration to ensure seamless connectivity across devices.
• Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools for proactive network oversight.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve network hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform installation and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks in line with industry best practices.
• Manage and configure firewalls to protect network data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct fiber optic cable repairs to maintain high-speed network performance.
• Ensure optimal functioning of wireless networks to meet dynamic user demands.
• Utilize remote monitoring tools to observe network activity and proactively address issues.
• Document diagnostic processes and resolution steps to enhance knowledge base and speed of service.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new network solutions to improve service delivery.
