Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at ElGI Electric and Industries Limited. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to clients. This role requires extensive technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Diploma, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of our products and their applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as within a team
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Experience in the building materials industry is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Promote and sell our products to clients by actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing technical support and demonstrations as required
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, highlighting the features, benefits, and technical capabilities of our products
- Work closely with the sales team to generate leads and contribute to the overall sales strategy
- Provide accurate and timely information to clients regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to effectively position our products in the market
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, build relationships, and identify new business opportunities
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management, providing insights and recommendations for business growth
