Job Overview

This is a full-time Plant Operator position based in Sanand suitable for freshers with a maximum of 3 years of work experience. Qualifications and Skills

• Plant Operations (Mandatory skill): Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of plant operational procedures in a manufacturing environment relevant to chemical or resin production.
• Water Treatment: Understanding of basic water and wastewater treatment processes for efficient plant functioning and compliance with industry standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Aptitude for routine checks, preventive maintenance, and minor repair tasks on plant machinery to reduce downtime.
• Process Monitoring: Ability to monitor plant parameters, interpret readings, and ensure all processes follow established specifications and safety protocols.
• Troubleshooting: Capability to identify, analyze, and resolve routine operational or process issues efficiently to maintain productivity.
• Standard Operating Procedures: Familiarity with preparing, understanding, and executing standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and safe operations.
• Attention to Safety: Commitment to adhering to workplace safety guidelines and protocols with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment, including start-up, shutdown, and routine process checks to ensure stable and efficient operations.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain detailed operational records for quality control and compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections on plant equipment, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.
• Monitor water treatment processes and adjust parameters as necessary to meet production and safety objectives.
• Perform troubleshooting of equipment or process issues, escalating complex matters to supervisors when required.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment by following all safety and environmental regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering feedback to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
• Support team members and actively participate in training sessions for skill development and process enhancements.
