Manager - Institutional Sales - Ion Exchange Resins & Chemicals

We are seeking an experienced Manager to be a part of our Institutional Sales team. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, maintaining existing relationships with institutional clients & should have a strong technical background in ion exchange resins and should be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to customers. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team of sales professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets & increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and key stakeholders.
  • Develop & manage a sales pipeline, and provide regular sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the use of our ion exchange resins.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and potential threats.


Requirements:

  • B. Sc / M. Sc (Chemistry) / Bachelor’s / Diploma (Chemical Engineering) or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales of Chemicals / Performance Chemicals / Specialty Chemicals / Lab Chemicals, preferably in an institutional sales role.
  • Technical knowledge.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP/CRM software.
