Role Overview

The Research & Development (R&D) Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the research and development activities of the organization. This role involves planning, implementing, and coordinating projects to drive innovation, create or improve products and services, and maintain market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

R&D Support & Laboratory Work

Assist in synthesis and modification of ion exchange resins (cation, anion, mixed bed) Perform routine laboratory experiments as per SOPs

Support formulation development and optimization studies

Testing & Analysis

Conduct testing of resins including:

Ion exchange capacity

Moisture content

Particle size distribution

Swelling and physical strength

Record observations accurately and maintain lab notebooks

Quality & Documentation

Maintain proper documentation, test reports, and batch records Ensure compliance with ISO / GMP / safety standards

Follow laboratory safety practices and housekeeping norms

Cross-Functional Coordination

Provide basic technical support to production and quality teams Assist in raw material evaluation and trial batches

Support customer sample testing and application trials

Learning & Development

Learn resin manufacturing processes and application requirements Stay updated on basic resin chemistry and testing methodologies Support senior R&D staff in ongoing projects

Educational Qualification:

B.sc / M.sc( Chemistry)

Preferred Industry Exposure

Manufacturing / Chemical / Engineering / Industrial organizations/water treatment plant
