Role Brief:

Demos Project Private Limited is seeking a creative and politically aware Content Writer (English) to join our content team in Chennai. You will be responsible for crafting engaging, original, and impactful content tailored to political campaign objectives, including social media captions, digital platform content, media articles, speech inputs for political leaders, and more.

This is an urgent hiring requirement for ongoing live political campaigns across India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Write high-quality Ghost content for various social media platforms, campaign materials, aid with leader communication etc.
• Research: Conduct in-depth, cross-platform research to develop accurate, fact-checked and compelling narratives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, editors, campaign managers, and political strategists to align content with campaign goals and visual messaging.
• Editing and Proofreading: Ensure content clarity, grammatical accuracy, and consistency in tone and messaging.
• SEO Optimization (Optional): Basic skills of On-page and Off-page SEO strategies and keyword best practices to increase visibility and reach, especially when working on long-form pieces.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English Literature, Communications or a related field.
• Strong command over English grammar, vocabulary, and political communication style.
• Proven ability to write across formats viz., long-form articles, short-form captions, speeches, and digital content.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Priority Preference: Prefer candidates belonging to Media or Branding background.
• Brownie points to candidates hailing from reputed institutions, or work experience with English Print or Television Media.
• Basic Political Acumen or interest is a plus.
• Experience in scriptwriting or storyboarding for digital media is exceptional.
