Role Overview 

The AI Editor & Prompt Specialist at Demos Project will lead the creative integration of artificial intelligence tools into the content development process for a high-stakes political digital campaign. This role is responsible for generating high-quality AI-powered videos, static images, and voiceovers using platforms such as Google Veo 3, Midjourney, RunwayML, ChatGPT, D-ID, ElevenLabs, and others. The specialist will drive experimentation, prompt optimization, and collaboration across creative units to deliver high-impact visual and audio content that resonates with Tamil Nadu’s political and cultural narrative. 

Core Responsibilities 

1. AI Video Generation using Google Veo 3

● Conceptualize, prompt, and refine cinematic video content aligned to campaign themes, leader visuals, and public narratives. 

● Deliver stand-alone AI videos or segments for larger edits while managing quality, political sensitivity, and platform readiness. 

2. AI Voice Generation and Integration

● Produce multilingual Tamil and English voiceovers via ElevenLabs, Play.ht, or similar tools. 

● Clone or simulate voices for avatar explainers, reel narration, and breaking-news videos; sync audio with visuals through D-ID, HeyGen, or basic editors. 

3. Static Image & Meme Creation with AI Tools

● Use Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Leonardo AI, Freepik AI, and Canva AI to design posters, thumbnails, infographics, and meme-ready assets. 

● Craft prompts that infuse Tamil cultural elements, political symbolism, and humor. 

● Deliver images in platform-optimized sizes with editable layers when required. 

4. Prompt Crafting and Content Refinement

● Develop, test, and document structured prompts for visual, textual, and audio outputs across AI tools—including ChatGPT for script and copy ideation. 

● Maintain a prompt library categorized by format, purpose, and performance feedback; iterate for tones such as satire, celebration, emotion, attack, and information. 

5. Collaboration and Team Integration

● Partner with Graphic Designers, Copywriters, and Video Editors to embed AI assets into full-scale content. 

● Supply modular outputs that can be repurposed across formats and languages; attend daily briefings to recommend AI-driven efficiencies. 

6. Oversight of AI-Driven Content Operations

● Archive all generated assets securely with clear naming conventions and usage history. 

● Monitor emerging AI platforms—RunwayML, CapCut’s AI suite, Canva Magic Design—and propose pilot projects to internal stakeholders. 

● Document workflows, output specs, and source attributions; ensure compliance with campaign confidentiality standards. 

7. Platform-Specific Adaptation & Meme Sensibility

● Export video and image assets for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, and X (Twitter) in vertical, square, and landscape formats with optimized subtitles, CTAs, and thumbnails. 

● Inject meme culture into AI-generated visuals to spark engagement and steer public discourse. 

Required Qualifications and Skills 

Education 

● Degree in Media, AI/ML Applications, Design, Communication, or a related creative/technical field. 

Experience 

● 1–4 years in digital media production, AI-based content generation, or campaign-driven creative work. 

● Demonstrated expertise with at least three of the following tools: Google Veo 3, Midjourney, RunwayML, D-ID, ElevenLabs, ChatGPT, Firefly, HeyGen, CapCut, Freepik AI, Canva AI. 

Technical Proficiency 

● Google Veo 3 for cinematic political video creation. 

● Midjourney, Freepik AI, and Canva AI for static and meme imagery. 

● ChatGPT for rapid script development and concept ideation. 

● CapCut (including AI features) for mobile-first short-form editing. 

● Ability to generate Tamil and English voiceovers via ElevenLabs or Play.ht. 

Creative & Soft Skills 

● Proven eye for meme-friendly visuals and narrative pacing. 

● Ability to visualize political narratives in AI form while maintaining cultural relevance and humor. 

● Deep curiosity about emerging tech in political communication; quick learner who thrives on experimentation. 

● Strong attention to detail, layout quality, and alignment with campaign tone. 

● Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey complex AI processes in simple terms.
