Job Summary  

The President Operations will oversee the strategic and operational performance of a food ingredient manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. This executive role demands a proactive leader with expertise in production management, supply chain optimization, and fostering a strong team-oriented culture. 

 The role requires a deep understanding of food and chemical manufacturing, food safety certifications, government regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies. With a team of 150-160 employees, the incumbent must drive productivity, regulatory compliance, and safety while instilling teamwork and a culture of excellence.  

Qualifications & Experience

 • Education: B. Tech or M. Tech Food, BE or ME Chemical or Food. An MBA in Industrial Management or General Administration will be a distinct advantage. 

 • Experience: Not less than 20 years with an industrial background related to chemical or food-grade manufacturing industry with the last 15+ years in a mid to senior leadership role and currently in a   Senior leadership role 

 • Expertise in: 

 o Chemical and food-grade production processes.

 o Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence. o Food safety certifications (HACCP, BRCGS, FSSC 22000, etc.). 

 o Government and regulatory affairs management. 

 • Skills: 

 o Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. 

 o Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 

 o Ability to foster teamwork and build a high-performing organization. 

 • Age: 45+ years preferred 

 Preferred Skills: 

 • Experience with manufacturing process automation.

 • Knowledge of sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives.

 • Familiarity with global trade and supply chain regulations.
