Requirements

• Must be willing to do hands on lab work.
• • Knowledge of polymer chemistry, reaction design and synthesis
• • Able to maintain and operate all lab instruments
• • Must be able to work independently in the lab with minimal guidance.
• • Must be able to follow procedures from literature papers
• • Must be able to carry our literature search in organic chemistry/polymer chemistry.
• • Familiar with systems like ISO, SEDEX etc.
• • Basic experience with handling audits and filling out paperwork related to ISO, MSDS etc.
• • Willing to relocate to Jodhpur

Job responsibilities:

• • Oversee all lab activities including R&D projects, synthesis and characterization of products made in
• the lab and pilot plant
• • Handle and set up lab scale reactions as per instructions from General Manager, R&D
• • Help with reaction scale up and design for reactions which are transferred from R&D to pilot plant and
• manufacturing
• • Oversee pilot plant operations with the guidance and instruction of GM R&D
• • Assist with filling out and maintaining paperwork related to R&D such as document requirements from
• customers, instrument calibration paperwork,
• • Face internal and external audits
• • Maintain and handle all lab instrumentation such as HPLC, particle size analyzer, charge density
• analyzer, etc.
• • Contribute to new product development through literature reviews, idea generation, lab testing
• • Travel to R&D conferences or other factory locations as and when required (can be 3-4 times a year)
