Job Role :

We are looking for an SDET intern to help us ship software confidently. If you enjoy uncovering edge cases, spotting cracks in the foundation, and breaking software in creative ways, this role is for you! You will test new features in our core product, validate its interaction with tools like Zendesk and Jira, and write automation scripts to streamline the testing process. Collaborating closely with developers, you'll ensure robust feature coverage and implement effective testing strategies.

Responsibilities :

* Test Strategy & Planning: Analyze product requirement documents and translate them into effective test plans and test cases.

* Code & Data Flow Analysis: Understand the interaction between various components of the codebase to identify testing points.

* UI/UX Testing: Ensure the UI is aligned with the proposed designs and the UX is intuitive, consistent, and meets quality standards.

* Manual Testing: Execute manual regression, bug, and feature tests to validate the functionality and stability of the product.

* Release Coordination: Work closely with developers during weekly releases to ensure only thoroughly tested code is deployed to production.

* Issue Investigation: Dive deep into complex issues, reproduce them consistently, and work with the team to identify root causes.

* Automation Testing: Contribute to writing and enhancing automated test scripts for repetitive test cases to improve efficiency.

* Documentation: Collaborate to enhance product documentation by identifying and addressing gaps for better end-user understanding.

Requirements :

* 2025 graduates from B.Tech or similar courses.

* Hands-on experience in software testing, either manual or automated.

* Knowledge of test methodologies, QA processes, and corresponding tools.

* Understanding of best security practices and the ability to identify potential vulnerabilities in software.

* Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Self-driven and eager to learn new tools and technologies to improve the testing process.

Nice-to-Have:

* Experience with Java and testing libraries such as Rest Assured, and/or frameworks like TestNG or similar tools.

* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating testing effectively into the build-and-deployment process.

* Basic understanding of version control systems like Git and platforms like GitHub, along with issue tracking tools such as Jira.

* Basic knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write queries to validate data integrity and functionality.
