Job Description – HOD (Pharmacy Practice Department)
Position: Head of Department – Pharmacy Practice
Department: Pharmacy Practice
Reporting To: Principal / Dean
Location: Cheran College of Pharmacy - Coimbatore
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership
2. Clinical & Community Training
3. Faculty Management
4. Research & Development
5. Administration & Compliance
- Prepare departmental reports, timetables, academic calendars, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with PCI, NAAC, NBA, and University guidelines.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic files.
6. Student Support & Discipline
- Address academic issues, mentor students, and ensure discipline in all activities.
- Conduct value-added programs, guest lectures, and training sessions.
Qualification & Experience
- Pharm.D / M.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice / Clinical Pharmacy / Pharmacology) with Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum 5–10 years teaching/clinical experience.
- Strong leadership, academic planning, and communication skills.
