Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Liaison Officer to join our team in Coimbatore on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess 7 to 10 years of experience and will be responsible for facilitating communication and collaboration both within and outside the organization. This role demands a high level of professionalism and strategic thinking to effectively manage various stakeholders and enhance our objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
- Liaise with government and regulatory authorities to obtain essential certificates, including fire safety, building completion, stability, sanitary, pollution control and etc.
- Ensure that all college facilities meet the legal and regulatory standards required for certification.
- Provide guidance to the colleges on fulfilling all necessary compliance requirements.
Liaising and Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the colleges and external regulatory bodies, universities, and government agencies.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with officials in educational boards, municipal bodies, fire departments, environmental agencies, and other relevant organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with officials in educational boards, universities, and other relevant organizations.
Crisis Management:
- Handle any issues or disputes that may arise in the affiliation process or in dealings with regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement strategies to address and resolve challenges in affiliation and compliance matters.
PRO:-
- Collaborate with other departments to create promotional content.
- Write, edit and review all media content and press releases.
- Handle any PR related issue that may arise.
- Maintain good relationships with all media houses.
- Organize PR activities to promote the Institutional Services and serve as the main contact
General Administration:
- Support the overall administration of the colleges, including handling day-to-day operational issues and coordinating with various departments.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment and order new supplies as needed.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of office facilities, including building infrastructure, equipment, and utilities.
- Manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation related to liaisoning activities.
- Oversee the maintenance and management of records related to regulatory compliance, certificates, and affiliations.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have an MBA in HR (Full Time), Public Relation or a related field (Master degree preferred) from a premier School.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in liaising, regulatory compliance, or course affiliation in the education sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the affiliation process with universities and regulatory bodies.
- Strong understanding of educational regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with online application processes for affiliations and accreditations.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in a similar role in educational institution.
- Established network with key officials in universities and regulatory bodies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
