Position: Legal Head

Department: Legal & Compliance

Location: Bharath Corp House Limited - Nungambakkam chennai

Reporting To: Chairman/Management/Director

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all legal activities of the organization.
• Draft, review, and finalize contracts, MoUs, agreements, and legal documents.
• Provide legal advice to management on company policies, compliance, and risk.
• Handle all legal matters related to labour laws, HR policies, vendor agreements, and service contracts.
• Represent the company in legal hearings, notices, disputes, and arbitration cases.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for construction, education institutions, and corporate operations.
• Manage legal audits, due-diligence processes, and maintain legal records.
• Liaise with external lawyers, government bodies, and regulatory authorities.
• Mitigate legal risks and provide solutions for smooth business operations.
• Support HR, Admin, and Operations in handling disciplinary actions and employee-related legal issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws, contract law, corporate law, and compliance.
• Experience in construction, real estate, or educational institutions preferred.
