Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Imports (Air/sea) - Pricing and Customer Service position. The role involves managing import processes, pricing strategies, and ensuring top-notch customer service. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating air and sea freight imports based shipments.

Dealing & negotiating rates with overseas agents/shipping lines/local vendors like NVOCC/LCL Consolidators body/transporters/warehouse and provide client specific services from the stage of RFQ till completion/Execution of the shipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION- · Single contact window for rate procurements · Ensure timely response to all inquiries · Rate negotiations with Agents, Co-loaders ,CFS and Shipping Lines · Collaborate & Strategize with sales team to get more business on board · Agency development, relationship with Agents, Co-loaders ,CFS and Shipping Lines · Follow Customer SOP thoroughly along with DSR · Acquire a thorough understanding of agents, carriers routes, transit time and their services · Responsible for the Pricing for both Sea Freight ,Air Freight imports · Deal immediately with each enquiry from sales team and revert in time with best buying rates to be quoted to sales. · Ensure that rates/ quotations received from Overseas agent are complete in all aspects in line with the expectations of the customer · Take Reviews & Feedback on quoted rates – on regular basis. Make necessary changes in strategy – in accordance to client’s feedback · Regular follow ups with sales team for business and volume projections. · Understanding the market rates and doing best to fulfil management’s expectation with regard to pricing · Resolve any issues and problems faced by sales/CS team and deal with complaints to maintain trust and relations with agents · Play an integral part in generating new business that will turn into long-lasting relationships with agents · Assist Sales team in winning all RFQs.

REQUIREMENTS:- Open Position: 1

Sr. executive- Imports (4-5 years experience in freight forwarding industry)

· Strong English communication (especially email) and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with personnel of all organizational level.

· Good Learning skills

· Knowledge of MS Office

· Ability in problem-solving and negotiation

· Minimum Qualification: Graduate (strong experienced 4-5 years in freight forwarding industry) · Salary Budget Cost to Company: Sr. executive- Upto 4.5 CTC per annum
