Job Overview

We are seeking an Executive-Level Travel Consultant to join our Thiruvananthapuram office. As a full-time position, this role requires a dynamic individual passionate about travel and customer service. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in travel destinations and reservation systems to provide exemplary service to our clients. With a work experience requirement of up to 30 years, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within our growing team.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in booking and reservation systems to efficiently manage itineraries and travel arrangements for clients.
  • Advanced knowledge of travel destinations to provide informed recommendations that align with clients’ preferences and budgets.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction throughout the travel planning process.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, partners, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to resolve travel-related issues and unexpected changes with poise and efficiency.
  • Keen attention to detail to accurately handle travel documents, itineraries, and client information.
  • Sales skills to identify potential opportunities and promote additional services beneficial to the client’s experience.
  • Cultural awareness to ensure sensitivity and appreciation of diverse backgrounds and travel needs.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan and arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, and tours tailored to individual client needs and preferences.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel regulations, destinations, and industry trends to provide informed and reliable advice.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients by providing personalized and responsive service.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best deals and ensure cost-effective travel solutions for clients.
  • Address client inquiries, complaints, and emergencies promptly and effectively to ensure a positive travel experience.
  • Assist clients with travel insurance, visa applications, and other necessary travel documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service offerings and implement new strategies for client engagement.
  • Contribute to the company’s commitment to sustainable tourism practices by advising and informing clients appropriately.
