Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Developer with expertise in Wordpress to join our team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time position for someone who has a strong background in developing and managing Wordpress websites, with a focus on backend development. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in API integration and is expected to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience with API Integration (Mandatory skill).
• Proficient in WooCommerce, with the ability to customize and extend its functionalities to meet specific client requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Elementor, focusing on its backend integration and performance optimization.
• Thorough understanding of REST API principles and implementation in Wordpress environments.
• Direct experience with Wordpress, including theme and plugin development.
• Ability to create and customize Wordpress plugins to extend site functionalities without disrupting user experience.
• Strong skills in Wordpress coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality and scalable code.
• Problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex site issues efficiently and effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the backend of Wordpress websites, including coding, plugin development, and API integrations.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Collaborate with designers to optimize site architecture and improve user experience based on technical feasibility.
• Create efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules for business and site functionalities.
• Conduct regular site audits and make necessary improvements to ensure optimal performance.
• Integrate third-party services and plugins while maintaining security and compliance standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and tools to improve workflows and site performance.
• Provide technical support and training to other team members and stakeholders when necessary.
