Job Overview
Boomaa Consultants - India is seeking a Junior Office Assistant to join our team in Chennai. This is a full-time position ideal for individuals eager to contribute to a growing HR consultancy. The successful candidate will assist in daily office functions and support our recruitment consultants in their tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong customer service skills for effectively interacting with clients and stakeholders (Mandatory skill).
- Proficient in communication tools such as Slack and Teams for seamless team collaboration (Mandatory skill).
- Basic competency in Microsoft Word for everyday document processing tasks (Mandatory skill).
- Knowledge of Google Workspace including Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs for collaborative work environments.
- Experience with data entry to ensure accurate and efficient handling of company databases.
- Familiarity with document management systems for organizing and retrieving documents efficiently.
- Ability to use basic accounting software to assist with simple bookkeeping tasks.
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management capabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operations of the office, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Act as a first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately and maintain updated databases and records.
- Coordinate the use of the company's communication tools to facilitate information exchange.
- Manage document filing systems, both physical and electronic, to ensure documents are easily accessible.
- Support recruitment consultants in scheduling interviews and liaising with potential candidates.
- Handle basic accounting functions like invoice processing and expense tracking.
- Perform other office-related duties as assigned to support the team and improve office efficiency.
