Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Banquet Sales Manager to join our team in Mumbai. As a Mid-Level position, you will play a crucial role in driving sales through inbound inquiries, showcasing venues, and convincing clients to book with us. You will leverage your sales acumen and client relationship skills in a full-time capacity to achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 9 years of relevant work experience.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in sales or related field, demonstrating strong industry knowledge.
  • Must have a proven track record in b2c sales, with the ability to engage and convert potential clients (Mandatory skill).
  • Demonstrated experience in venue management, providing expertise in venue showcases and client persuasion (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong vendor management skills, ensuring clients receive the best possible rates and services.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, capable of effectively closing deals to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
  • Proficiency in client relations, focused on understanding and fulfilling client needs to ensure repeat business.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, dedicated to building long-term client relationships for sustained success.
  • Superior communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly and professionally both in verbal and written form.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue for properties by managing sales inquiries from multiple channels effectively.
  • Engage with potential clients, conduct venue tours, and encourage bookings with professional presentations.
  • Understand the specific requirements of clients and design customized event packages accordingly.
  • Collaborate and negotiate with vendors to secure the best rates, maximizing value for clients.
