Blowair is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Bangalore Urban. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will manage financial processes and maintain accurate financial reports, contributing to our company’s growth and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in managing the general ledger is mandatory for effective financial tracking and record keeping. (Mandatory skill)
• Solid experience in financial reporting with the ability to accurately prepare and present detailed financial reports.
• Expertise in account reconciliation to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial documents and resolve discrepancies.
• Proficient in managing accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of obligations and maintaining vendor relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of tax preparation processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely filing of returns.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes, critical for effective financial management.
• Experience in accounts receivable management, including billing, invoicing, and maintaining cash-flow efficiencies.
• Ability to provide audit support, ensuring readiness for internal and external audits through meticulous record-keeping and preparatory work.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and systems used by the organization, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, providing insight into financial stability and performance.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable including invoice payments, vendor communication, and reconciliation of vendor accounts.
• Prepare and file accurate tax returns, monitor tax regulations and ensure adherence to all compliance requirements.
• Utilize Excel to perform detailed financial analysis, helping in strategic decision-making through comprehensive data insights.
• Oversee accounts receivable, including processing, collection, and ensuring prompt and accurate financial transactions.
• Support and prepare for audits, ensuring all financial data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for audit trails.
