Supply Chain Fresher Job Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in supply chain management. You will be exposed to various aspects of the supply chain process, including inventory management, logistics, and demand planning. You will also have the chance to contribute to process improvement initiatives and work on projects to optimize supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing demand forecasts and create production plans based on inventory levels
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimize stock levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any supply chain issues
  • Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations
  • Assist in conducting data analysis to identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement
  • Participate in supplier evaluation and qualification processes
  • Assist in the documentation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply chain activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
