Site Civil Engineer Job Description
As a Site Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. This includes planning and coordinating the construction activities, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee construction projects, including site preparation, foundation work, and building construction
- Plan and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
- Monitor progress and quality of work at the construction site, and make adjustments as necessary
- Prepare and maintain construction documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports
- Manage and supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Ensure project completion within the scheduled timeframe and budget
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Proven experience in managing and overseeing construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
